Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 2 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. You also have the option of entering a FedEx or UPS account number and shipping will be charged to that account.

In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our Grass Valley, CA location. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 2 to 5 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 9am-4pm on Weekdays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come to pick up you item(s).

International Shipping
At this time, we only offer international shipping with a customer provided FedEx or UPS account. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Micro Precision Test Equipment is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at mpte@microprecision.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges
All returns must be authorized. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted without item’s Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number. Items returned to us must be sent freight pre-paid and insured.

New Equipment Returns
Defective new equipment may be returned for warranty repair/exchange to us or the original manufacturer. Please contact mpte@microprecision.com for more details. Items that have malfunctioned due to mishandling, electrical overload, etc., will be subject to a repair charge.

Non-Defective new equipment will be authorized for return within five (5) days of the shipment receipt date if the equipment is still in new, re-sellable condition with the original manual(s), accessories, packing material and carton. We reserve the right to reject returns in which there is no original packaging, missing accessories, damage or visible signs of usage of the item. A restocking fee of up to 25% of purchase price may apply. Special orders are non-returnable.

International customers must ship any returns to us freight and duty prepaid. Return freight charges for International shipments will be the responsibility of the customer.

Used Equipment Returns
Upon receipt of used equipment returns, units will be evaluated to determine if repair or exchange is covered under warranty. Items that have malfunctioned due to mishandling, electrical overload, etc., will be subject to a repair charge. Warranty period is stipulated in our written quotation and/or your Purchase Order. At our discretion we will repair, replace or credit the price paid for the unit. Non-Defective used equipment will typically have a 5-business day Right of Return.
